To implement the project “Strengthening of Inter-Agency Cooperation and Increasing of Crime Investigation Quality in the Lithuanian Police” funded under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism, 15 multi-level training events were organised in the Criminal Intelligence Training Centre of the Lithuanian Criminal Police Bureau.
The training programmes were prepared after the best national and foreign practices were analysed. The training courses were delivered by highly qualified lectors and specialists with long-term practice in training. 241 officers of the criminal police units of Lithuanian police and social partners carrying out criminal intelligence and conducting pre-trial investigations raised their skill levels in these courses. The course subjects concerned undeclared economy phenomena, criminal intelligence tactics, interview procedures, criminal intelligence technical solutions, cybercrime investigations, analysis tool and method application, etc.
The training events covered both – the extension of basic theoretical knowledge and solution of practical issues along with the application of innovative investigation algorithms, formalised prevention, investigation environment and the most recent technological solutions.
