The latest activity of this project, from April 15th to 19th, 2024, involved a police delegation visiting Vienna, Austria. The internship was organized by Dunja Gharwal, the Vienna Children's and Youth Ombuds Office (Modecenterstr. 14 | Block | 4th Floor, 1030 Vienna, Austria).

Officials visited key institutions responsible for cases of violence in close environments and their prevention in Vienna. These included the Vienna Children's Rights Ombudsman's Office, the Vienna Regional Police Headquarters, the Vienna Probation Service, the Child Protection Service, the Victim Support Center, and the Crime Prevention Center.

The goal of the internship was to examine cases of violence in close environments from the perspective of the victim and the assistance and support available to them in Austria."
