The European Economic Area (EEA) and Norwegian financial mechanisms are the contribution of the Republic of Iceland, the Principality of Liechtenstein and the Kingdom of Norway to reducing economic and social disparities and strengthening bilateral relations with the 15 EU countries in Central, South-Eastern Europe and the Baltic States. 2019 - 2024 — there is an Active Citizens' Fund financed by the EEA Financial Mechanism in Lithuania, allocating 9 million euros to strengthen civil society in Lithuania and empower vulnerable groups.
